LED indication during updates¶

In update mode the status LED and the six-LED level meter show what the bootloader does. The colours are chosen so that they cannot be mistaken for an audio level: the meter shows blue only during an update.
| State | Status LED | Level meter |
|---|---|---|
| Waiting for an update it was sent to; returns to the firmware by itself after 5 minutes | Amber, slow blink (1 s) | Dark |
| Waiting without a timeout: no valid firmware, three failed starts, or the encoder button held at power-up | Amber, fast blink (0.25 s) | Dark |
| Transfer in progress | Amber, as before | Fills blue, one LED per 18 % |
| Installed, restarting | Green, steady | All six blue |
| Failed | Red, blinking | Frozen where it stopped |
| Transfer aborted, cable pulled, idle timeout | Back to the waiting pattern | Dark |
The module does not show the cause of a failure; MuraLink reads it from the module and names it. Blinking pauses for a moment while the bootloader erases or writes flash; the colour stays.
The other indicator patterns of the module are on Indicators and LEDs.
